Shop Business Update
Since so much has happened in the last 5 month I'll just give all the fun things a line or two. The story and pics and story are not in a great chronological order. But it's all in there. Racing is all fun and games until you break your collar bone. It is still broken. Most likely gonna have surgery next spring after everything settles down with the new Baby.We are busy as all get out and have about a 2-3 month backlog, and we need to get some more space and more good mechanics.
Ike is finally 21!

Brandon was hit by a car turning left on his way home, he lost a foot. The Northwest Ruckus Association, The Cretins, Twinline, and a strong community of motorcyclists raised some cash at our Cafe Sprint ride in September. It was a great party. Brandon is doing well.
I was welcomed to my new neighborhood (columbia city) with a $750 non speeding ticket from the local constable, just after I moved my family.
I lost two great guys from my shop last last week. They both have had life turn some twists. Eric (having a famly) and Kyle (helping his family)
I did bring on a new mechanic, he even has some credentials - his name is Brandon. I look forward to getting to know him.
This has all been a challenge in five months I have been wrenching with a broken bone, lost some great talent, and my shop continues to grow. Business is a tough learning curve and I am still learning. Thank you everyone that helps make this experience happen for me. I am passionate about motorcycles.... even though I'm not supposed to ride them.
(Matt the guy on the left crashed his CBR1000 when he was trying to race against the ol' xs650 bomber) Never race against a 21 year old with an ego.

2009 Ducati News NEW MODELS!!!!
Ducati used the European Motorcycle Show at Milan to pull the curtain back on a few models they managed to keep secret from prying fans. These new models are radical & represent the best & most advanced offerings yet.

Some Features: Engine size from the previous generation 1098R model. Raising the CC from 1099 to 1199CC's for all litre class Ducati Superbikes. Weight saving methods first used for the 848 are applied to it's big brother the 1198 & 1198S models. AND THE BIG ONE.....for the first time ever on production Ducatis - the Ducati Traction Control System is used in both the 1198S & the 1098R models!!! This is the most advanced traction control system available on any modern Sport Bike -- here's what Ducati has to say about it:
DUCATI TRACTION CONTROL
For the first time ever on a Ducati production motorcycle, a true competition-level traction control system for the road comes integrated into the 1198 S and 1098 R electronics as standard equipment. The Ducati Traction Control (DTC) system further underlines Ducati's technology flow from racing to production and demonstrates how solutions developed for the track can be applied to enhance safety on the road.
DTC uses the same software logic developed and used by Ducati Corse for their world championship winning MotoGP and World Superbike motorcycles and offers a choice of eight settings developed by their professional test riders and racers.
Accessible from the left-hand switchgear and displayed on the digital instrumentation, the system offers a choice of eight profiles. Each one has been programmed with a wheel-spin tolerance matched to progressive riding levels of skill graded from one to eight. While level eight administers a confidence-building, high level of interaction from the system by activating upon the slightest amount of wheel-spin, level one offers a much higher tolerance and so much less intervention for highly competent riders. When the level is selected and DTC activated, the level is displayed on the instrumentation.
When the profile that best suits the combination of road or track conditions and riding style has been selected and the DTC system activated, front and rear wheel sensors compare speed differential to sense when rear traction is being broken (wheel-spin). High speed software then makes instant electronic adjustment to the fuel injection, taking immediate control over power output so as to restore traction at the rear wheel. A warning light is displayed during DTC interaction. As soon as the system recognises the return of equal wheel speeds, it re-establishes normal power delivery. In this way, DTC provides a considerable increase in safety during mid-corner acceleration.
The DTC system is supplied as standard equipment on the 1198 S and 1098 R models.

VARIO BARUBeberapa waktu yang lalu thailand telah mengeluarkan generasi terbaru dari vario. selain terdapat perubahan di sektor penampilan yang lebih meruncing, vario baru ini sudah dilengkapi dengan sistem bahan bakar injeksi PGM-FI. Hasil test sementara vario ini mampu berakselerasi cepat dan mempunyai top speed sekitar 120 km/h. Seperti vario generasi sebelum nya vario injeksi ini juga dilengkapi dengan bagasi, dan tempat penyimpanan kecil di legshield depan. Walaupun dengan kapasitas mesin yang sama 110 cc, vario baru ini tetap terasa menyenangkan dikendarainya, hal ini dikarenakan kombinasi dari berat, desain rangka yang sangat baik dan juga faktor pengendalian yang tajam.
